Erasmus students will plant a Tree on the Campus, which will be mapped and identified on EUVG Erasmus Ecosystem Map. Taking advantage of local soil and climate conditions, the aim is to begin an ecological restoration program for the ecosystem that predominated in the region, which constitutes a favourable habitat for the presence of diverse wild fauna, thus contributing for the preservation of local floristic and faunal biodiversity. This initiative is intended to be explored in two ways: – Promote the concepts of cooperation and interdependence, reinforcing awareness of the importance of each person in the growth of a united Europe – Raise participants’ awareness of the ecological footprint associated with their movement within the scope of mobility, challenging them to find ways to develop active practices to offset the resulting carbon emissions.
