Split County Association of Blind People

On the occasion of celebrating the White Cane Day on October 17, 2024. in the organization of the Marjan Lions Club and the Split County Association of Blind People, the Let’s Play Together and Switch Roles activity will be held. In addition to the designed program, games will be held on the playground, which will be played together by visually impaired and non-visually impaired people. We will add blindfolds with a sound ball and a sound frisbee, running will be done in such a way that blind people will be connected by a running cord with a sighted person, later sighted people will be able to run with a blindfold and with a running cord. They will pass polygons blindfolded and at the end they will jump over the screw together. The event will be covered by the media. The goal of such an event is to show people who do not have vision problems that blind people can do almost anything, but with adaptation and knowledge of the needs of people with visual impairment. On the occasion of ErasmusDays, the Erasmus+ project KISS: Intro AT 2 4 VIPs will also be presented, as well as previous Erasmus+ projects and results, such as the KISS manual, which the CABPS has implemented so far.
