3rd gymnasio of Naoussa

There are three main general objectives of our project. For many years we have lived in a safe world, going to work or school, and suddenly on 24 February 2022 things changed. Therefore the first objective of the project is to have a look at different military conflicts in our countries within the last century. We will visit the places that are connected to them, we will have a look at the important historical dates. When a war is started ordinary people suffer the most and the most terrible is when children lose their parents or when get killed themselves. For some of them, the solution is to escape the country and become a war refuge. In those circumstances, the situation is difficult for both sides for the immigrants and also for the local inhabitants of the town in the given country. Then the process of adapting to the new situation starts. People are afraid of something that they are not familiar with. Therefore the second objective of our project is to take some actions that will make the gap between the locals and the immigrants smaller. And we all know that all interpersonal contacts start with the language we use. Therefore we also plan to have workshops on peaceful communication. So, to sum it up, our objectives are: 1) Let the students learn about military conflicts in our countries. 2) Get to know the customs, traditions, and dishes of the immigrants. 3) Offer the students tools for peaceful communication.
