Etudes et Chantiers Bretagne Pays de la Loire
6pm to 6.30pm: Opening of the evening
Presentation of the European partners hosted at the Palacret as part of a European Erasmus+ project (Latvia, Romania, Austria, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Greece). Since 2021, the MJC has been organising a European trip for young people aged 14 to 18. The aim of this tri-national project, organised jointly with Poland and Germany, is to encourage young people to get to know each other through artistic activities. In 10 days, the group has to build a cultural project from scratch: theatre, dance, music, etc.
6.30pm to 7.30pm: Pancake workshops and introduction to the Celtic harp
Cookery workshop: learn how to make Breton crêpes: prepare the crêpe batter, try your hand on a billig (traditional Breton crêpe pan)… Each country has its own pancake recipe. Each European partner will have entrusted us with their country’s best pancake recipe, which we will have compiled in a small “recipe booklet” that will be distributed to everyone.
Music workshop: introduction to the Celtic harp by the duo who will be playing after the meal.
7.30pm to 8.30pm: Shared meal Sweet and savoury pancakes, of course! But also a tasting of local beers, ciders and apple juice. Discover and taste specialities from the partner countries present (Latvia, Romania, Austria, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Greece).
8.30pm to 9.45pm BMX concert | Duo harp and voice (Bertille Tropin & Morgan Touzé) “Their set of covers ranges from folk to rap, via alternative rock, electro (collaborative!) and good old pop. BMX offers its audience a concert in the form of a blind-test. The prize is a song that they will perform for the winner in complete privacy…”. The duo will be performing covers of hits from Latvia, the Netherlands, Romania, Greece, Austria and the Czech Republic specially for the evening…
