ITS TOURS

Around 200 students in their 2nd year of training in 3 streams (specialised educators, specialised technical educators and educators of young children) will be celebrating Erasmus Days on the theme of CITIZENSHIP AND SOCIAL WORK. We want to encourage students to get involved and take responsibility for organising these days, so they are given preparation time, supported by trainers. The students, organised into 14 country groups, are asked to be creative and to lead workshops presenting the identity card of the target country, its cultural specificities and the profession of educator in the country to the other groups in an attractive format. The countries were chosen on the basis of the number of trainees departing on mobility placements. Each group is in contact with a ‘local correspondent’ (a student on a placement abroad at the time) who may volunteer to give a first-hand account of the educational missions on the ground. The teaching staff are invited to attend, and the celebrations will end with an international snack and a wall of words to share their thoughts on this wonderful half-day of festivities.
