Erasmus Days activities will be organized in our school in order to introduce the Erasmus program and encourage our students to benefit from this program. The school administration, teachers and students will participate in the event to be held in the garden of our school. Erasmus Days activities will start with the speech of our head of the department Cemre Ovayolu. In this speech, the aim is introducing the Erasmus program to the students and raising awareness in them. The event is designed as an English festival. First, students selected for the event will sing the song “Hello to all the children of the World” in chorus. In order to draw attention to the cultural richness in the world, our students, who take the stage with the traditional clothes of each country, will also draw attention to the exhibition prepared by our other students. In this exhibition, there will be poster studies and paintings including cultural elements of different countries. At another stage of the event, English competitions will be held. Amongst these competitions, there is a “Spelling Bee” competition where students spell the country names in English. There is also a “Pop the Balloon” competition. In this competition, greeting expressions in different languages are placed inside the balloons, and the students are allowed to sit down and pop the balloon, then they try to find out which country the greeting expression belongs to. The activities are ended by distributing Erasmus Days badges to the students who took part in the event.
