On 16 October, the Polytechnic University of Tomar will celebrate Erasmus days 2024 with the Webinar – KreativEU (Knowledge and Creativity European University). The Webinar aims to make the IPT community and stakeholders in the region aware of the KreativEU (Knowledge and Creativity European University) consortium, led by the Polytechnic University of Tomar, which was selected for funding within the scope of the European Universities promotion initiative, funded by the European Commission, through the Erasmus+ program. The Polytechnic University of Tomar is now part of the restricted list of Higher Education Institutions leading a consortium of this magnitude and importance, especially in terms of higher education and research policies in Europe. KreativEU European University is made up of the Polytechnic University of Tomar (Portugal – Lead Partner), D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics (Bulgaria), University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (Czech), University of Camerino (Italy), University of Greifswald (Germany ), Breda University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), Opole University of Technology (Poland), Valahia University of Targoviste (Romania), Trnava University (Slovakia), Södertörn University (Sweden) and Adana Alparslan Türkeş University of Science and Technology (Turkey ) . The KreativEU (Knowledge & Creativity European University) entails a bottom-up and unique alliance of universities across Europe, linking and connecting local and national heritage, traditions, crafts and folklore to a common European value, strengthening the European identity, cohesion, knowledge economy, employment, creativity, culture and welfare. KreativEU is the result of a great collective effort, which has been developed in recent years, to boost teaching and research at the Polytechnic University of Tomar.
