TravaPowa & Prague Feminist Tours
Let’s celebrate Erasmus Days with an empowering feminist walking tour shedding light on women’s emancipation, diversity & inclusion, civil rights, and gender inequalities. The sustainable travel project TravaPowa joins forces with Prague Feminist Tours to give students free access to a unique exploration of Prague and Czech history. The tour will guide you through the historic Olšany Cemeteries, Prague’s largest graveyard, where you will discover the stories of feminist figures such as Karolina Světlá, Eliška Krásnohorská, or the “Czech Coco Chanel,” and Anna Náprstková, a pioneering entrepreneur. You’ll also learn about the heartbreaking struggle of Libuše Palachová, mother of Jan Palach, and other remarkable women too often forgotten in history. The autumn colours will make the atmosphere even more magical as you stroll through this historic space.
