This year the University of Latvia is organising a photo competition “Mindful Mobility” as part of the ERASMUS DAYS 2024. The highlights of our event is healthy, sustainable and green lifestyle, sports, cultural understanding. Erasmus+ is a program that creates the sense of adventure and community that brings everyone together around new and collective experiences. Eligibility: Open to all students who have recently participated/currently participating in the exchange program. Submission Guidelines: 1. Submissions should include the participant’s name, email, name of the home and host university, and 1-2 sentences how does the photo represent the topic of the competition. 2. Submissions should be sent via form>> https://forms.gle/hMbEw6Ec9STZz2gS9 or email to outgoing@lu.lv with the subject line “Mindful Mobility – Photo Competition Entry.” Evaluation criteria: 1. Creativity and originality 2. Composition and visual Impact 3. Relevance to topic Topics: Embracing cultural differences in common activities: photos that show activities, engagement and sharing of different cultures, traditions, and doing them together. Green and sustainable choices: As being active you are helping others and the environment, show photos that reflect the activities. Self-care and active lifestyle: As this year Erasmus Days are also celebrating together with The Olympic games in Paris, being active and healthy is an important part of our lives, showing how you take care of yourself, be healthy, do sports. Submission Deadline: October 18, 2024 Prizes: UL souvenirs to three photos selected by the UL Mobility Division. The winners will be contacted via email. Exhibition: Selected photographs will be displayed in the UL main building. !!!!Usage Rights: By submitting their photographs, participants grant permission for the University of Latvia to use their images for promotional and exhibition purposes, with proper attribution. Note to Participants: Please ensure that you have the necessary permissions and releases from any identifiable individuals featured in your photographs.
